JVNY Workshops 2015

JVNY will hold it's intensive string and piano workshop, "Rencontres Musicales Internationales a Courchevel" from July 12th to July 26th, 2015. Located in the heart of the French Alps, this course provides advanced students with an opportunity to study intensively with international faculty in an inspiring setting, and to perform regularly in masterclasses and concerts.

The JVNY ensemble will be in residence in Courchevel and will perform throughout the Savoie region of France during this time and prior to the Courchevel workshop. The residency provides a unique opportunity for this selected group of young artists to travel to one of the most spectacular regions in the world, and to experience professional concertizing life in this inspiring setting. Concerts take place in exquisite venues, giving American young musicians unique exposure to the Baroque and Renaissance architecture that parallels some of the music they perform. Under the guidance of the artistic directors, these young musicians strive to reach the highest calibre of music making in a musically rich and stimulating environment. Individual creativity, as well as artistic interaction is fostered, as the group strives together to prepare these exceptional, breath-taking performances.
